Three races of increasing distance and time limit. Two in daylight and one in the dark. You may compete individually in one, two or all three stages. There will be two unique courses and a combination of the two for the final race. Make sure to read the events, stage race details, gear requirements and rules before registering.
Disclaimer: We make all of our courses doable if you are in shape but we are known for making challenging courses. Please consider this before registration as we want you to have a positive experience. All distance are relative. Expect +/-500 meters on each distance. Course distances and details are subject to change based on changing trail conditions/weather.
Registering to do all three events, enters you into the stage race. You must have completed the prior stage before moving on. All event stages start at the specific time and you may not start the next stage until that time. The time between event stages is not counted towards official overall time and is a chance to refuel and rest. If you miss the cut off of event #1 or #2, you may move on, but your official time starts with the main field of the current event. To be official stage race finisher you must finish by the midnight cut off.
To register as a relay team, each participant needs to register in their individual event and join a relay team during registration. Teams may consist of 2-3 members.
Three Person Team: What Month is it?
April, May and June want to run as three person team. April will register for the "5K Trail Run" and create the team "What Month is it?". May registers for the individual "10K Trail Run" and joins "Team Summer". June registers for the individual "15K Trail Run" and joins "Team Summer". Their team is now completed with a racer in all three stages.
Two Person Team: So Sue Me John
John wants to do the 5K and 10K stages while Sue just wants to run the 10K. John registers using the "Both 5K & 10K" option and creates team "So Sue Me John". When Sue goes to register, she selects the "10K Trail Run" and joins the team "So Sue Me John".
Just for fun, post race we will calculate the fastest "Fun Team" for each stage. Each team must have a minimum of three(3) participants to receive team scoring.
